I recently developed a bespoke Power BI dashboard for The Brakenhale School, part of the Greenshaw Learning Trust, designed to support a high-stakes challenge: making sure students get into the exam hall on time.
Using Bromcom’s oData feed, the dashboard pulls live attendance data to highlight students who are absent without a known reason – and plots their home locations on an interactive map to help staff respond quickly and effectively.
This tailored solution:

🚐 Supports swift decisions – like dispatching transport to bring students in
The goal? To reduce missed exams, act fast and remove barriers to success using data that’s already available – just not always easy to act on.
This project is a great example of how thoughtful, focused use of data can move us from reporting what’s happened to changing what happens next.
